Swastik Acqua-Culture & Sea-Food Private Limited

We set up our office at Plot No 75 A in the Madhuvan Society, which is in the Fulsar area of Bhavnagar. Swastik Acqua-Culture & Sea-Food is a bit of a long name for what we do, which is just regular people handling the seafood trade. Bhavnagar has a long history with the ocean, and we’re just doing our part in that tradition. Our office is in a quiet society, so it’s not like a shop where people are coming in and out all day. Most of our actual work happens through phone calls or when we go down to the docks or visit the farms. It can be a pretty messy business. Dealing with seafood means you’re always around heaps of ice, plenty of water, and a lot of fish. It’s not a job for everyone. The smell usually sticks to your clothes no matter how much you wash them, and your hands are almost always cold from the ice. We don't have any corporate slogans or mission statements on the walls. We just focus on getting the catch from the water to the buyers without making a mess of things. Sometimes the trucks are late or the catch isn't what we were hoping for, and we just have to figure out a new plan on the spot. It’s all about being flexible. Fulsar is a good home for us because it's away from the city traffic.
