Om Agro Industries

You can find Om Agro Industries over at Plot No. 25 in the Gidc area of Vartej. It’s a dusty part of town but that’s just how it is with industrial zones. We deal with a lot of agricultural stuff here. The shed is large enough to keep the equipment dry and out of the sun. We started out small and stayed at this same spot for years. The road outside gets pretty muddy when it rains, making it hard for the tractors to get through sometimes. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of the machines and the guys talking over the noise. We keep a regular schedule, starting early before the sun gets too high. Vartej is a good place for this kind of work because everyone knows everyone else in the Gidc. We help each other out with tools or advice when things break down. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us near the back where the actual work happens. There’s always a lot of grain or seeds around depending on the season. It's a bit messy, but that's the nature of agro work. We just try to stay on top of the orders and make sure the machines are greased and running. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just keeping the business moving as best as we can.
