Super Machine Tools

Down here at 366/4 in Chitra Gidc, things stay pretty busy. Bhavnagar gets quite warm, so the workshop can feel a bit like an oven by midday. We handle machine tools mostly. It’s a lot of iron and steel moving around. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, no matter how much we try to sweep up. We’ve been at this spot for years and the neighborhood knows us. It’s not a quiet job, but we’re used to the sound of the grinders and the clinking of tools. Sometimes the power goes out and everything goes still for a bit, which gives us a chance to sit outside for a minute. We don't have a big team at Super Machine Tools, just a few guys who know their way around a machine. Most of the time, we’re just trying to get through the orders that came in last week. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s honest. You won’t find any shiny brochures here, just some blueprints on a messy desk. We drink a lot of chai to keep going. It's a simple life in a noisy shop, but it suits us well enough. We don't need much more than some good tools and enough work to stay busy.
