S. E. W. Steel Indus. is our little corner of Gidc, Phase - 2. We’ve been working here for quite some time, handling all kinds of steel tasks. It’s not the sort of place you’d go for a quiet meeting. There is always the sound of grinding or trucks backing up in the yard. We aren't a corporate office with people in suits. We wear work clothes that get stained with grease and rust pretty quickly. That’s just the nature of the business. We try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can, though sometimes the machines have other ideas and we spend the afternoon fixing a motor. We don’t have any marketing slogans or fancy goals. We just want to do a decent job and get paid so we can do it again tomorrow. Most of the people around here in Phase - 2 are doing the same thing. We help each other out when we can. If a truck gets stuck in the mud, everyone comes out to help push. It’s a practical way to live and work. We don't spend much time worrying about what the competition is doing. We just focus on our own pile of work and making sure we don't make many mistakes. It's a simple life at S. E. W. and we're okay with that. We just do our work and go home.
