Kalimasteel Rolling Mill

Down here on Gangli Road in Sihor, the mill has been running for a good while. It's loud and hot most days, which is just how a rolling mill is supposed to be. We handle a lot of steel here in Vadia, moving things around and getting the metal shaped right. It’s heavy work and the guys are usually covered in dust by the end of their shift. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the main shed and the machinery that keeps everything moving along. Some days the machines act up and we have to spend a few hours fixing things, but that's just part of the job when you deal with this kind of equipment. We see a lot of trucks coming in and out from the main road, picking up loads to take to construction sites or other factories. The ground stays pretty muddy when it rains, making it tough for the loaders, but we just keep going. It isn't a clean job, but it's what we do. People around here know us for being steady and just getting the work done without making a big fuss about it. We’ve been in this spot for years and the neighborhood has changed around us, but the mill stays pretty much the same. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot and stay until the last batch is finished for the day. It’s hard work, but we are used to the noise and the heat by now.
