Jain Steel is located over in Gidc, Phase - 2. If you walk down our lane, you’ll hear the sound of metal moving around most of the day. It’s a practical place. We don’t have much of a front office, mostly just the warehouse and the loading area. My uncle started this place because he knew how to handle steel, and we’ve just kept it going since then. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the orders filled and keep the guys working. It’s hard work, and your hands get dirty within the first ten minutes of the shift. We see a lot of the same truck drivers every week. They know where we are tucked away in Phase - 2. Sometimes we run out of space when a big shipment comes in, and we have to shuffle everything around to make it fit. It’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes. We don’t use any fancy software for our inventory; it’s mostly just notebooks and memory. It works well enough for what we need. When people ask about us, we just tell them we sell steel and we’re here six days a week. There isn't much more to it than that. We just try to be decent people to work with and keep the yard organized enough to find things. It is a simple life and we like the routine of it.
