Shree Ji Steel

Shree Ji Steel is out on Plot No. 56, along the Bhav Nagar Road in Palitana. We are positioned right near the railway crossing, so we hear the trains go by pretty often throughout the day and night. It’s actually a good spot for a steel business because it’s easy for the big trucks to get in and out without much trouble. We deal with all sorts of steel supplies for building and manufacturing. Whether it’s rods or sheets, we keep a fair amount of stock on the yard. It gets pretty hot out here during the summer months, but we just keep at it. We are a small team and we do all the loading and unloading ourselves. There’s no big hierarchy or bosses in suits here. If you come by, you’ll probably see us wearing our work clothes and moving heavy stuff around. We don’t use any complicated sales pitches or marketing tricks. We just show people what we have in stock and tell them the price. It’s a straightforward way of doing business that seems to work for everyone. The railway crossing is a bit of a landmark, so people don’t usually have trouble finding our plot. We’ve been here for a bit now and we know most of the other business owners along the road. It’s a hardworking area and we fit right in. We just focus on keeping the steel moving and the pile organized.
