New Sarvoday Engineering

Our shop is right by the railway crossing on Mill Street Road in Kumbharwada. You can hear the trains going by all day long, which you get used to after a while. We do engineering work, mostly small parts and repairs for local guys. The machines we use are pretty loud, so there’s always a hum in the building. It’s a dusty place, honestly, but that’s what happens when you’re cutting metal. We’ve got a few benches set up where we do the precision stuff. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just have to sit and wait it out. It’s a regular part of the day here. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know the equipment well. People stop by because they know we’re right here by the tracks. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but the work stays the same. It takes a certain kind of patience to get the measurements right. We use a lot of grease and oil to keep things moving. It’s not a clean job, but it’s what we know how to do. We usually close up when the sun goes down and the last train passes. Just a basic engineering spot. New Sarvoday Engineering is just where we spend our time working on whatever comes our way near the crossing.
