Our shop is located at Plot No.294/E in the Chitra G.I.D.C. area. If you are coming down this way, we are right opposite Chamunda Steel, which is a big landmark around here that everyone uses for directions. The yard usually has a lot of metal stacked up, and there is always some noise of cutting or grinding happening throughout the day. It is a gritty place to work, especially when the Bhavnagar wind starts blowing the dust around the industrial zone. We have a small office tucked in the corner, but mostly we are out where the actual work happens. The guys are usually covered in some bit of grease or metal shavings by noon. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Most people who come here have been doing business in Chitra for years and know exactly where the plot is. There is a lot of loading and unloading that happens right out front, so sometimes the entrance gets blocked by a truck for a bit. It is just the way things go in this part of town. We keep the machines running as long as there is power and work to do. Sometimes we stay late when a job needs to get finished, sitting under the dim yellow lights until it is done. It is not a glamorous setup, just a regular engineering spot where we put in our hours every day.
