Ambica Engineering Works

We are located out on Mahuva Road in Talaja. If you know the area, you’ll find us at Plot No. 6. It’s a basic engineering workshop where we spend most of our days getting our hands dirty and fixing things. Ambica Engineering Works has been around this part of Talaja for some time now. We handle a lot of metal work and mechanical repairs for people around here. It’s not a quiet place, there is usually the sound of machines running or someone welding something in the back. The shop isn’t the cleanest, but that’s what happens when you work with iron and grease all day. We have a few guys who have been with us for years and they know their way around the tools. Most of our work comes from local folks or businesses nearby who need something made or repaired. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available. Sometimes it gets quite hot in the shed during the summer months, but we just keep going. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get it done right. Living and working in Talaja means we know most of our neighbors. It’s a simple life. We start early in the morning and close up when the sun goes down. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on for us and our families. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we know how to do best.
