Nandini Restaurant

Nandini Restaurant is part of the Hotel Nandini and Guest House on Bhavnagar Road. We are out in Tansa, in the Ghogha taluka area of Bhavnagar. It’s a bit of a distance from the city, so we get people who are driving through or staying upstairs in the guest house rooms. The building is right on the road, so it’s easy to spot if you’re looking for 364001. The kitchen stays pretty warm throughout the day. We have a routine of prepping vegetables in the morning before the lunch crowd shows up. It’s not a quiet place because of the trucks passing by outside. The dust from the road is something we have to keep cleaning off the windows. Our staff is mostly local guys who live nearby. We don't really do anything too complicated, just regular meals that people expect when they are traveling. Sometimes the guest house is full and then the restaurant gets really packed, which makes it hard to keep up with the water refills and clearing tables. Most evenings are slower unless there’s a group staying over. We sit around and talk when the work is done, usually about the weather or how the road construction is going. It's a simple life out here in Tansa. We just keep the place running. It’s been at this address for a while now and everyone around here knows where to find us on Bhavnagar Road.
