Jagdish Engineering Works

You can find us at Door No-C-32 in the M.P. Shah Udyognagar area, right on Saru Section Road. This part of town is always busy with small workshops and people moving parts around. We do engineering work, which basically means a lot of cutting, grinding, and fixing metal parts for people. Our workshop isn't the cleanest place because of all the oil and iron shavings, but that's just how engineering shops are. We’ve got some old machines that still work better than the new ones sometimes. We take orders from other businesses nearby or individuals who need something specific made out of steel or iron. It’s mostly hands-on work. We don't sit in an office much. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in our work clothes covered in some grease or dust. It’s steady work and it keeps the lights on for us. Saru Section Road is a good location because everyone in the trade is close by. If we need a specific tool or a piece of metal, we can usually find it within a short walk. We’ve been at this for years, and while the technology changes, the basic idea of making things fit together stays the same. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. We just focus on the lathe and the drills. Sometimes the heat in the shed gets a bit much in the summer, but we keep going. It's a practical business for practical people who need things fixed.
