Reliance Metal Corporation

Reliance Metal Corporation is located over at G.I.D.C., specifically at Plot No. 4515/B. We are quite close to Khwaza Chokdi, which is a landmark most people in this area know well. Our daily routine is mostly about managing the metal stock we have piled up. It’s a noisy environment, especially when the cutting machines are running or when the scrap is being moved around. The plot is a decent size but it fills up quickly when a new shipment arrives. We spend a lot of time outside in the yard, checking the materials under the sun. It’s hard work and your hands are almost always dirty by the end of the shift. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy office furniture because that’s not what we are about. We just need a place that works for the heavy stuff we handle. Being near Khwaza Chokdi helps with the logistics because the trucks can find us easily enough without getting lost in the industrial estate. Some days it feels like we are just fighting against the clutter, but we manage to keep some kind of order. The guys here have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. It’s a practical business, nothing more and nothing less. We just open up in the morning, do the work, and close when the sun goes down and the gate is locked.
