Ajgabinath Sultanganj Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are based out of Kathara in Sultanganj, specifically at Anuranjan Kumar Singh’s property. Our group, Ajgabinath Sultanganj Farmers Producer Company Limited, was formed because we wanted to do something together as a community. The soil here near the river is good, but managing everything alone was getting too difficult for most of us. Our office is just a plain room with a wooden table and a few benches. We don't have any fancy decorations or marketing materials lying around. It’s usually just us sitting there, drinking tea and talking about the upcoming season or the price of diesel. Anuranjan handles a lot of the logistical stuff, but we all pitch in where we can. The road to Kathara can be a bit bumpy, so we don't get many visitors from outside the village. We like it that way, honestly. We’re not trying to impress anyone with a big corporate image. We are just farmers who have spent our lives in these fields. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we just put a bucket under it and keep working. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s an honest one. We focus on our crops and try to make sure everyone gets a fair shake. There’s always work to be done, whether it’s planting or harvesting, and we just keep at it every single day.
