Our group is based in Villageloharakhas, which is part of the Gyanpur area in Bhadohi. Rajesh Kumar Maurya helps keep things in order here. We are a farmer producer company, which basically means a lot of us from the village decided to work together instead of struggling separately. It’s a lot of paperwork sometimes, but mostly it is about the soil and the crops. Bhadohi Gyanpur Up Farmer Producer Company Limited is the name on the official stamps. We don't have a big corporate building with glass windows. Our meetings happen in the village, often under a tree or in a small room. We talk about what to plant and where to sell it. It’s not always easy. Sometimes the market prices are low and everyone feels worried. But being together helps a bit. We are just local people who know the land. We grew up here and we know how the seasons work. We don't use any complicated words to describe what we do. We grow things, we harvest them, and we try to make a living. It is practical work. People in Loharakhas know us as neighbors first. We handle the seeds and the fertilizers and try to help each other out when someone’s tractor breaks down or the water is scarce. That’s just how we operate every day. It’s a regular life for us, doing the best we can with what we have got in the ground.
