J.S. Engineering Company

J.S. Engineering Company has been sitting here at No. 29 on 7th Cross for a good while now. We are pretty easy to find since we are right near the police station. The shop is usually busy with whatever jobs come through the door that day. Most of the time, you’ll hear the machines running as soon as you turn the corner. It gets a bit dusty in here, but that is just part of the work. We handle various engineering tasks that the local folks and businesses need doing. It's not a fancy place, just a workspace with the tools we need to get things finished. Some days are slower than others, but we keep the doors open and stay on top of the pile of work on the benches. The neighborhood is alright, and being close to the station makes it feel secure, I guess. People mostly stop by to ask if we can fix something or fabricate a small part for a machine. We don't have a big office or anything, just the floor where the real work happens. If you walk past No. 29, you'll see us there. We’ve seen the street change quite a bit over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. It's just us doing what we know how to do with the metal and the lathes. Nothing more to it than that. Most folks just know us by sight and drop in when they have a problem.
