Wild Spice Restaurant

Wild Spice Restaurant is located at No.96 in the F M Cariappa Bhavan on Residency Road. This is Bangalore, so you can imagine how busy it gets outside our doors. We are right near St Josephs College, so we see a lot of students walking by every single day. The traffic on Residency Road is almost never-ending, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of it. Our place is tucked into the building there. We don't go for anything too flashy. It’s just a regular restaurant where people from the college or the nearby offices can grab a meal. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen getting things ready for the afternoon rush. When the college lets out, it usually gets quite lively in here. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that; it’s just us running the show. The address is quite central, so people find us easily enough. We’ve seen many batches of students come and go over the years. Some of them even come back to visit after they graduate. We just keep doing what we do, making sure there is food on the plates and the tables are ready for the next person. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and moving around, but that is just the nature of the business in a city like Bangalore. We just take it one day at a time.
