Aathithya Restaurant

We’ve been here at the Ashraya International Hotel on Infantry Road for a while now. It's a busy spot right across from the Ladies Club. Most people find us because they're staying at the hotel or just working in the offices nearby in Bangalore. It gets quite hectic around lunch because of the location. We just focus on getting the food out. The place isn't fancy, but it works for a quick meal. You’ll see a mix of regulars and travelers. The staff has been around for a bit, so they know the drill. Infantry Road can be a nightmare for parking, but being inside the hotel helps some. We don't really do big advertisements or anything. Just serving people who walk through the doors. Sometimes it’s quiet in the afternoons, but that’s just how it goes here. We try to keep things clean and the tables cleared. It’s a straightforward setup. If you're near the Ladies Club, you've probably seen our sign. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, more buildings going up and more traffic. But the restaurant stays pretty much the same. We like the consistency of it. It’s not about being the talk of the town or anything, just being here for the people who need a place to sit and eat something decent. We don’t have a lot of frills, just the basics that a restaurant should have. It's just us doing our thing every day on this corner of Bangalore.
