Vinayaka Engineering Works

Our workshop is located in Yeshwantpur 9. It’s a place where we do a lot of fixing and making things from scratch. Engineering sounds like a big word, but mostly we are just working with machines and tools all day. It gets oily and loud in the shop, but we don’t mind it. People from around Yeshwantpur come to us when they have something that broke or needs a specific part made. We have some older machines that still work great, and some newer ones too. It’s a mix of everything really. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't busy with a lathe or a drill. Sometimes the floors are covered in metal shavings, but we clean up at the end of the week. There’s always some project sitting in the corner waiting for a part to arrive. We’ve been at this for a while now. We know the machines inside and out. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. If you’re looking for a shiny office, this isn’t it. But if you need something machined or welded, we usually have a way to get it done. The neighborhood is mostly industrial, so we fit right in with the other shops around here. We just keep doing what we know best and hope the machines stay running without too much trouble. Every day is a bit different depending on what people bring in.
