Vijay Engineering Works

Vijay Engineering Works is situated at Plot No. B/89, right on Kolar Main Road in the Nayapura area. We are pretty close to Extol College, so there is usually a lot of student traffic nearby. The workshop stays quite loud during the day with the machines running and the sound of metal being worked on. It’s a dusty place, honestly, no matter how much we try to sweep it out at the end of the shift. Most of the guys here have been working with their hands for years and they know the equipment inside out. We take on all sorts of jobs, some small and some that take up the whole floor for weeks. The grease gets everywhere, on the floors and the walls, and definitely on our clothes. It isn’t the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice shirt. Sometimes a machine breaks down right when we have a deadline, and then everyone has to scramble to fix it. That’s just part of life in a machine shop. We’ve been in Nayapura long enough that most people know where to find us on the main road. The gates stay open until late most nights because there is always something left to finish. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just the workshop, the tools, and the work that needs doing. It's a simple operation, really. The neighbors probably don't like the noise much, but they have gotten used to it over the years.
