Vibgyor Kids - Bengaluru (Kadugodi)

Out here in Konadasapura Village, things are a bit different than the center of Bengaluru. We are on the Kadugodi Main Road, right at Survey No 9/2. It’s part of the Bidarahalli Hobli area in the East Taluk. We’ve been here since the roads were much quieter than they are now. Our building is a simple place where we look after the local kids. It’s not a polished, high-tech center, just a solid building with plenty of space for activities. We get a lot of dust from the road, so we are always cleaning up. The staff comes from nearby areas, so we really feel like part of the village community. We see the same faces every morning at the gate. Sometimes the rains make the road outside a bit messy, but we manage to get inside and keep things dry. Inside, it's all about the children. We have toys that have seen better days but are still loved, and desks that have a few scratches on them. It’s a real place. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We just provide a space for kids to be kids while their parents are at work. Life moves at a certain pace in Kadugodi, and we’ve adapted to it over the years. It’s a lot of hard work, but when you see the kids happy, it feels okay. We don't have a big reception desk or anything, just a small chair by the entrance where we sit.
