Venkateshwara Engineering

Venkateshwara Engineering is situated at No. 14/5 on Hesaraghatta Main Road. We’re really close to the Chikkabanavara Railway Station, so you can often hear the trains passing by while we work. Chikkabanavara is a busy place, and being on the main road means there’s always traffic and people walking past. Our workshop has been here for a while, and it’s mostly filled with tools and machine parts. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, as there’s usually some grease or metal shavings on the floor, but that’s expected with engineering work. We don’t have a secretary or anyone to answer the phones, so if we’re busy with a machine, it might take us a minute to get to the door. We just focus on fixing things and making sure the parts fit together right. It’s practical work and it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we usually find something else to clean or organize in the meantime. We aren't interested in sounding like a big company with fancy slogans. We are just a few guys working in a shop near the station. It’s a bit noisy and a bit messy, but it’s our place and we’ve made a decent go of it over the years. We just keep doing what we do every day without complaining about the heat or the noise.
