Varshini Enterprises

You can find Varshini Enterprises at 69/17 Mahalaxmi Puram. We are situated right beside the HDFC ATM, which makes it very convenient for people to describe where we are. There is almost always a short line of people waiting for the machine next door, so there is a lot of foot traffic past our window. We started this little enterprise because we wanted to have something of our own in the neighborhood. It is a compact space, just enough for our equipment and a couple of chairs for when we need a break. The walls are a bit thin, so we can hear the people chatting outside, but it keeps us from feeling too isolated. We do not have a lot of fancy branding or marketing stuff. We just put a simple board outside with the name. Most of our day is spent handling orders and talking to suppliers on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we just sit out on the step and watch the cars go by until it comes back on. It is a very local way of doing things, I suppose. We have gotten to know the security guard at the bank pretty well, and he often shares his snacks with us. It is a friendly little corner of Mahalaxmi Puram. We are not looking to become some giant corporation, we just want to keep doing what we are doing right here in this spot.
