Excel Aerial Work Equipment

We are located up on the second floor at 17, 3rd Main on New Bel Road. Being in RMV 2nd Stage is a good spot, though parking can be a bit of a headache for everyone. Excel Aerial Work Equipment is where we handle a lot of the planning and paperwork for heavy lifting gear. It’s a bit strange being on a second floor when you deal with giant machines, but we have our reasons. The office is usually a bit of a mess with manuals and safety guides everywhere. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at technical specs for lifts and platforms. It’s not the most exciting work to talk about at a dinner party, but it’s important. We have a small crew and we’ve all been working together for a long time. Sometimes the printer breaks or we run out of staples, and that’s the biggest drama of the day. We aren't some massive company with a shiny glass building. We just have a plain office where we try to stay organized. When we aren't at the desk, we are out at sites looking at equipment. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, so we definitely get our exercise. We just try to be honest about what we can do and not promise things we can't deliver. It’s a practical business and we keep things simple and direct. I usually take my coffee out on the small balcony if it isn't too hot.
