We are based in the Jubilee Building on Museum Road. It’s a solid old building, number 45, and it’s right in the middle of things. At Telco Construction Equipment Company Ltd., we focus on the heavy machines that people need for big jobs. We have a lot of manuals and technical drawings spread out on the tables. The office isn't very large, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent talking to people who are working on big construction sites or mines. They need parts or they need a new machine, and we help them get it. It’s noisy outside on Museum Road, with all the tourists and the traffic, but inside we just focus on the equipment. We have a few models of the excavators and loaders on the shelves, mostly for us to look at. We aren't the types to wear suits every day; we’re more comfortable in work shirts and sturdy shoes because you never know when you’ll have to head out to a site. The Jubilee Building has a lot of history, and we like being part of it. We take the stairs most days because the lift is slow. It’s a straightforward business. We provide the tools that build the roads and the buildings everyone else uses. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late when a customer has an emergency.
