Sigma Hoist Company (P) Ltd. is located right at No. 85/9 in Srigandhada Kavalu. We are pretty close to the Pipe Line near Sunkadakatte on Magadi Road. The traffic on Magadi Road can be a real headache in the evenings but that’s Bangalore for you. Our workshop is where we spend most of our hours. We deal with hoists and heavy lifting stuff, so it’s a lot of metal and grease around here. The floor is usually a bit messy during the day when we are in the middle of a project. It’s not a showroom, just a place where things get built and fixed. We’ve got a small team and we’ve known each other for a long time. It feels more like a family than a company most days. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just talk to people who need help moving heavy loads. If you walk past the Pipe Line area you’ll probably hear the sound of welding or hammers coming from our direction. It’s a busy little corner of the city. We keep the doors open mostly to let the air in because it gets stuffy with all the machines running. We just do what we do and try to stay out of trouble. It’s a simple operation at the end of the day, focusing on the mechanical side of things and making sure the units are ready for use.
