Our office is tucked away in the building and it’s where we handle all the metal and alloy business stuff. It isn’t a massive warehouse right here; this is more for the paperwork and the meetings. We have piles of files and samples of different alloys scattered around. Sometimes the phone rings constantly and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the traffic outside. We’ve been here at Barton Centre for a good bit of time. People come in to discuss specs or just to drop off documents. It feels like a standard workplace with chairs that have seen better days and a coffee machine that works when it wants to. We deal with a lot of different suppliers and clients. It’s straightforward work. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty for visitors. It’s a functional space. We know the security guards at the entrance and the local shops nearby. Working on Banneraghatta Road means you get used to the city's pace pretty quickly. We just keep our heads down and handle the metal trade as it comes in. It's just a regular office life for us and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the building.
