General Metals & Alloys

If you head over to the Industrial Suburb in Peenya, specifically the 2nd Stage near the 3rd Phase, you’ll find General Metals & Alloys at number 182. Peenya is a huge industrial hub, and being tucked away here means we are right in the thick of things. We deal with various metals and alloys, mostly supplying them to other workshops and factories in the area. Our yard is usually a bit of a jumble with different crates and piles of material waiting to be sorted or shipped out. It’s a very practical place. We don't have any flashy signs or a fancy lobby for visitors. Most people who come to see us are truck drivers or local shop owners who just want to pick up their orders and get back to work. The guys working here have a lot of experience and can usually tell one alloy from another just by looking at the finish, though we do check everything properly of course. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around with the crane. Sometimes the rainy season makes the yard a bit of a muddy mess, but we just put on our boots and keep going. We don’t try to act like we’re some huge corporation; we’re just a local business trying to provide what our neighbors need for their own manufacturing jobs. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from dawn to dusk every day.
