Vee Pee Alloys

Vee Pee Alloys is situated over in the 4th Phase, which is a part of the industrial area that always feels like it’s in motion. Our place at 108 on the 10th Cross is basically a large shed filled with stacks of metal and heavy equipment. It isn't the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit, as there’s always a bit of soot or metal dust on every surface. The office is just a small room partitioned off from the main floor with some old plywood and glass. You can hear the trucks idling outside waiting to load up or drop off more material. We spend most of our time coordinating these deliveries or checking the weight of the alloys on the big scales. The heavy sliding doors at the front stay open all day, letting in the sound of the neighboring factories and the heat from the road. It’s a loud environment, but you stop noticing the noise after the first hour. The guys working here have their routine down, and we usually take our breaks sitting on the stacked crates near the entrance. It’s a very practical setup without any unnecessary decorations or comforts. We focus on getting the orders out and making sure the inventory matches what the books say. The 4th Phase can be a maze of similar-looking buildings, but we’ve been here long enough that everyone knows the corner. It is just a hard-working spot in a heavy industrial zone.
