V Seven Industries

Chickpet is always a mess of people and carts, and right in the middle of it is V Seven Industries. We’ve been operating here for years. The streets are narrow, so getting materials in and out is always a bit of a headache, but you get used to it. We do a lot of small-scale manufacturing and assembly here. It’s noisy and dusty most of the time. We have a couple of machines that run almost constantly during the day. The building itself is old, with those high ceilings and narrow stairs that make moving heavy boxes a real chore. We have about eight people working here on the floor. Everyone knows their job, so we don't really have to say much to get through the day's tasks. I spend half my time on the floor checking the output and the other half in the small corner we call an office. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name painted on the door. People who need what we make know where to find us. Chickpet has a certain energy that you don't find elsewhere in the city. It’s fast and everyone is always in a hurry. We just keep our heads down and focus on finishing the batches. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the stalls nearby. By the time we close up, the streets are finally starting to quiet down a little bit. It's a long day but it's what we know.
