V. K. K. Engineering Works

We are located at 32, Jumbuli Milk Colony Road, over in Kodungaiyur. It’s a fairly industrial part of town, so you’ll hear the sound of machines and trucks pretty much all day long. Our workshop is a bit messy, with metal scraps and oil on the floor, but that’s just how an engineering place looks when work is getting done. We’ve got a few old lathes and some welding equipment that have seen better days, but they still run fine. The heat from the roof can be tough in May, so we usually have a big industrial fan blowing just to keep things moving. We don't really have an office staff; it's mostly just us out on the floor with our hands dirty. V. K. K. Engineering Works has been at this R.V. Nagar Post address for a long time. We know the local mechanics and the people who run the other small sheds nearby. Lunch is usually a quick affair, maybe something brought from home eaten sitting on a wooden bench. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or websites. If someone needs a part fixed or a bit of steel cut, they just walk in and ask. It’s simple, and it’s how we’ve always operated. Some days are long, especially when a machine breaks down and we have to stay late to finish a job, but we just get on with it. It’s an honest way to make a living.
