United Engineering Works

We've been at E-48 in the Satpur MIDC area for quite a while now. It's a busy spot, and United Engineering Works is right in the middle of all the industrial noise. The shop floor usually has something going on, whether it's a big job or just fixing a small part for a neighbor. We aren't really fancy people here. Most days are spent looking at drawings or making sure the machines are running like they should. It gets hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is working in Nasik. People stop by the gate sometimes to ask if we can handle a specific piece of work. If we can do it, we say yes, and if it's not our thing, we'll tell you straight. We have a few guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines better than anyone. Sometimes things break down or the power goes out, which is frustrating, but we just deal with it and get back to work when we can. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning and quiet halls. It’s a workshop. You'll find grease on the floors and the smell of cut metal in the air most days. We just try to get the jobs done and out the door on time so we can move on to the next one. That’s pretty much the daily routine for us at United Engineering Works. We keep the doors open and just keep at it.
