Truly Moms Kitchen

Truly Moms Kitchen is up on the fourth floor of the Touch Down building. We are in the Hal Industrial Area, which is part of Marathahalli. It’s a busy part of the city, but it's a bit quieter once you get inside the building. We’ve been here for a while now. The space isn't huge, but it's enough for what we do. We started out just making meals for people nearby who didn't have time to cook for themselves. It was just a small idea that turned into something more. We don't have a big team or anything like that. It's mostly just me and a couple of others who know how to handle a kitchen. We don't have fancy equipment. We use regular pots and pans, the kind you’d have at home. The 4th floor is a bit of a climb if you aren't used to it. Most people just call us instead of coming by. We spend a lot of time prepping vegetables and making sure the spice mixes are right. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather gets hot in the afternoons. We don’t really do any big advertising. People usually find out about us from their friends or coworkers. We just want to make decent food that doesn't taste like it came from a factory. We just keep things simple and do the work every day.
