Bangalore Tent House

We operate Bangalore Tent House out of Lingarajapuram on HM Road. It is mostly a lot of heavy lifting and moving poles around. We have been at 84/2 for some time. When there is a function or a small gathering nearby, people usually give us a call to see what we have in the warehouse. We’ve got tents, chairs, and some of the basic lighting stuff too. It stays quite dusty in the back because of all the fabric and metal pipes we store. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, but we manage to get the setups done. It isn't a glamorous job, mostly just loading and unloading trucks at odd hours. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk near the front where we keep the booking diary. If you come by, you’ll probably see us cleaning the chairs or folding up the cloth covers. We try to keep things simple. If a neighbor needs a few extra stools for a birthday, they just walk over. The traffic on HM Road can be a headache during the day, so we try to do the big deliveries early. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a spot where you can get your event gear without a lot of complicated talk. We know most of the people around here by now. The yard gets pretty messy after a big weekend, so Mondays are usually for cleaning and drying out the canvas if it got wet. It’s hard work, but we’ve gotten used to the routine of loading the truck.
