Vasu Sound & Lights

Vasu Sound & Lights has its base on Mosque Road, near Thambu Chetty Road. It’s a lively part of town, and we fit right in with all the noise and activity. We started out with just a few speakers and some basic lights, and over the years, we’ve added more to our collection. You’ll usually find us testing out sound boards or checking cables to make sure nothing buzzes during a show. Our space is more of a storage unit and workshop than a proper office. It’s full of black boxes, coiled wires, and metal stands. When there’s a local festival or a wedding nearby, we’re the ones hauling the gear out and setting it up on the stage. It’s physically demanding work, and we often work late into the night until the last song is played and everyone goes home. We don't have a professional marketing team; our reputation comes from being there on time and making sure the mics actually work. Sometimes a bulb blows or a fuse trips, and we have to scramble to fix it on the fly. That’s just part of the business. We like being part of the local celebrations and making sure the neighborhood can hear the music clearly. It’s a simple life, focused on sound and light. We just keep moving from one event to the next without much rest or extra fuss.
