Tool Engineers Corporation

Working at Tool Engineers Corporation means spending a lot of time out here in the Nagasandra Omkar Industrial Estate. We are situated near the 9th Mile mark on Tumkur Road, which is a place most people know for the heavy truck traffic. The estate itself is always humming with the sound of different factories and workshops. Our shed is pretty standard for the area, filled with the usual engineering gear and stacks of metal. It gets quite warm in the afternoons under the roof, so we keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. We’ve been at this for years, and the routine hasn’t changed much. We show up, check the machines, and get to work on whatever the current batch requires. There isn’t much ceremony to what we do. Engineering is just about getting the measurements right and making things that last. Sometimes we have lunch together under the tree outside if the weather is decent enough. The walk from the main road can be a bit dusty, especially when the big lorries go past. We know the other folks in the industrial estate, and we often help each other out if someone is short on a specific bolt or tool. It is a hardworking environment where nobody worries too much about how they look as long as the job is done right.
