We are located at 32, 17 H Main Road, over in the 4th Block of Koramangala. If you’ve ever been to this part of Bangalore, you know how crowded and busy it gets. Our building is right in the middle of all that action. At Timken Engineering And Research-India (P) Ltd., we spend our days focused on technical stuff and research. It’s a lot of sitting at desks, looking at drawings, and working through engineering problems. The office has a very practical feel to it. There are cables everywhere, monitors on every desk, and people often huddled around a screen discussing a design. It’s not like those shiny startups you see nearby. We’ve got a more traditional way of doing things. The 4th Block is a great place to be because there are so many food spots and coffee shops within walking distance, which is good when we need a break. The traffic on 17 H Main Road can be a nightmare sometimes, especially when it rains, but we are used to it by now. We don't really go out and promote ourselves much. The work we do is pretty specific and the people who need us usually know exactly where to find us. It’s just a group of engineers and researchers trying to get things right. We keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand until it’s time to go home. We are just doing our job here.
