Time World

Our shop, Time World, is located at 12 Old Airport Road in J C Nagar. It’s a busy area with a lot of cars and buses going past all day long. We have a modest little spot here that we’ve occupied for a long time. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s where we spend most of our lives. Inside, it’s filled with all sorts of things we’ve collected over the years. We spend our mornings getting everything in order before the first people start coming in. J C Nagar is a diverse place, so we get all kinds of folks walking through our doors. We don't have any corporate training or polished sales pitches. We just talk to people like normal human beings. If we can help with something, we do. If not, we say so. It’s a very direct way of doing things. The counter is a bit scratched up and the floor could use a good scrub, but we are more interested in the work than the appearances. Sometimes the street noise gets a bit much, especially in the evenings, but it’s just part of being on Old Airport Road. We don't have any grand visions or big plans for the future. We just want to keep the doors open and continue doing what we know how to do. It’s a simple, steady life, and we are quite content with that. We just take it day by day.
