Helios The Watch Store

You can find us inside Phoenix Market City, which is always crowded on the weekends. We are located on the upper ground floor, units 25 and 26, right near the Zodiac area. It’s a big mall on Whitefield Road in Mahadevapura, so there is always noise from the shoppers walking by. We sell watches, mostly. The shop has glass cabinets everywhere and bright lights that help people see the details on the watches. We get a lot of people who are just killing time while their family shops for clothes or goes to the movies. It’s a bit different from a street-side shop because of the mall rules, but we try to keep it friendly. The staff here knows a fair bit about how the gears work and which straps last the longest in this heat. Sometimes the mall air conditioning is too cold, and we have to wear sweaters even though it's hot outside. We have a lot of different models, from the simple ones to things with more buttons than you’d ever use. It’s a lot of dusting and polishing to keep things looking okay. We don't have a huge back room, so we keep most of the stock out front where people can see it. It’s a busy place to work, but it’s interesting to see who walks in. We spend our shift talking to people about their style and checking if we have the right size.
