You’ll find us at 77/4 on Tumkur Main Road, right near the bus stop in T Dasarahalli. Being so close to the bus stop means there is always a crowd of people outside. We mostly deal with watches and clocks. It’s a small shop, squeezed into a busy row of businesses. Inside, the walls are covered with different types of clocks, so you can hear a lot of ticking if you stand still for a second. We spend our days doing small repairs, like fixing a broken glass face or putting in a new battery. It’s simple work but it takes a steady hand. The shop has been here for years, and we’ve seen the main road get wider and busier over time. We don't have any fancy marketing. People just see the clocks in the window when they are waiting for their bus and decide to step inside. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the traffic on Tumkur Road, but we try to keep the glass clean. My uncle used to run a place like this, so I just followed in his footsteps. It’s not a corporate chain. It’s just a local spot where you can get your watch fixed without any fuss. We are usually here from early morning until the evening commute settles down. The ticking of all those clocks keeps us company throughout the day, which is actually quite nice once you get used to it.
