Thota Engineering Works

Thota Engineering Works is up on the 3rd floor, unit 303/A of Suryatowers in Bhavaninagar. It’s in the Malkajgiri area, which is a busy place to be most of the time. Suryatowers is a mix of different businesses, so you meet all sorts of people in the hallway. Our workshop and office are kind of mashed together. You’ll see tools and parts sitting right next to the computer where we do the billing. Engineering is messy work, so the floors are rarely perfectly clean, no matter how much we sweep. We have some heavy equipment that makes a fair bit of noise when it’s running. The neighbors don't seem to mind too much, or maybe they’re just used to it by now. We’ve been in Malkajgiri for a good while and have a steady rhythm to our days. We start the morning with a list of repairs or fabrications and just work our way through it. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought, and we’re still here when the sun goes down. We don’t have any polished marketing or a fancy reception desk. If you come in, you’ll probably find us in our work clothes with grease on our hands. It’s a practical place for practical work. We just focus on getting the engineering right and keeping the machines at Thota Engineering Works in good shape. It is how we have always done things around this office and shop area.
