Our office for Thomson Reuters (India) Pvt Ltd is on the 2nd Floor of Tower A at 3 Indira Nagar. It is a very convenient spot because Big Bazaar is right nearby, so we always have a landmark to tell people. The building is a typical multi-story office block with a lot of different companies sharing the space. We usually take the stairs to the second floor because the elevator can be a bit slow when everyone is coming in at nine. Inside, the space is filled with desks, computers, and a lot of wires. We deal with a huge amount of data and information here every single day. It’s mostly a quiet place, with just the sound of people typing or talking softly on their headsets. We have a small break room where we keep our lunches in a shared fridge. The view from our windows is just the busy street below, which is always packed with cars and people shopping at the market. Working here feels very routine. We have our set tasks and we just get through them one by one. The carpet is a standard grey and the lighting is bright enough to keep us awake. It is a very standard office setup where a group of people comes together to do their jobs. We aren't big on decorations, so it looks pretty much like any other professional workspace.
