We are located at 9 Mahathma Gandhi Road, which is a pretty central spot if you know the city. Obopay Mobile Technology India Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this office for several years. It’s an old building, but it works for what we need. We work on mobile tech stuff, mostly behind the scenes. It isn't a place where customers walk in off the street very often. Most of our day is spent looking at screens and talking about software. The office is a bit cluttered with old cables and spare monitors, which is just how it goes in this line of work. We usually have lunch together at one of the small places nearby. MG Road is always packed, so getting in and out can be a bit of a headache during rush hour. We’ve grown a bit since we started, but we still feel like a small team. There’s no big corporate vibe here. We wear casual clothes and just get on with the tasks. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all complain, but mostly it's just steady work. Being right on Mahathma Gandhi Road means we are close to everything, which is nice for after-work errands. We don't have any big signs or posters. Just the company name on the directory. It’s a plain, functional space where we get things done. Everyone knows their job and we just try to keep the systems running for the users.
