We are located out in Electronic City, at numbers 46 and 47. The area is called Chandan Wadi. We are pretty close to the GE Power Control building. This is a BPO office, so it’s full of rows of desks and people wearing headsets. It’s always a bit noisy with all the talking going on. We work in shifts, so the office is never really empty. It’s a big space but it feels smaller when everyone is busy. The air conditioning is usually running full blast to keep the computers from getting too hot. We spend a lot of time looking at data and talking to people on the other side of the world. Chandan Wadi has changed a lot since we started here. There are more food stalls and traffic than there used to be. Most of us just bring our lunch and eat at the desks. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We don't have many meetings, we just get on with the tasks assigned for the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generators to kick in. That’s just life in Electronic City. We have a lot of different people working here from all over. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to keep the numbers moving and the files updated.
