Thirteenth Floor Restaurant

You have to head up to the 13th floor of Barton Towers on M G Road to find us. We’ve been at No. 84 for a long time now, watching Bangalore change from up here. Being this high up gives a different perspective on the city, especially when the lights come on in the evening. Thirteenth Floor Restaurant isn't just about the view, though. We spend a lot of time figuring out the kitchen side of things. It’s a bit of a journey for people to get up here through the elevators, but they usually seem okay with it once they arrive. M G Road is always a mess with traffic and construction, so it’s nice to be above all that noise for a while. We aren't a huge corporate chain; we just have this one spot. The wind can get pretty strong up here on the balcony, but that’s just part of the atmosphere. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just cook and serve the best we can. The staff has been around for a while and they know how to handle the busy weekend rushes. It’s a lot of walking back and forth, but we like the energy. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on M G Road, and we’re just happy to still be here doing our thing day after day.
