The Yum Box

White Field is always so crowded these days, and that is where we set up The Yum Box. We spend most of our mornings just getting things ready for the lunch rush. It is mostly about packing up meals and making sure the lids are on tight so nothing spills. We noticed that people around here are always in a hurry, so we just wanted to make something easy they can grab and eat at their desks or at home. The kitchen stays pretty warm, especially around noon when all the stoves are going. We don't have a big dining area or anything like that because we focus more on the boxes themselves. It’s just a small team of us working in the back, chopping vegetables and getting the rice sorted. Sometimes the delivery guys are waiting outside and it gets a bit hectic with all the bikes and the noise. We try to keep things organized but on Mondays it can get a bit messy. The name is just something we liked. We aren't trying to be a five-star place, just a spot where you can get a decent meal that doesn't cost a fortune. You can find us right in the middle of the White Field area. We use a lot of containers every day, and we are always checking the stock to make sure we don't run out of napkins or spoons. It is just a regular food business.
