The Yellow Chilli

We are located on the second floor of MSR West Park, right where Brigade Road and Church Street meet. It is a very busy corner of Bangalore, especially with the metro station right across from us. You have to walk up or take the lift to find us at No.3. The noise from the street is always there, but that is just life in the city center. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen prepping ingredients and getting the tables ready for the lunch rush. It gets pretty crowded on weekends because of the location. Our staff is a mix of young people and some who have been in the food business for years. We do not have a fancy lobby or anything; you just come up and the restaurant is right there. Sometimes the wait for a table can be long, but we try to move as fast as we can without dropping plates. The kitchen is always hot and there is always something being chopped or fried. We are not a big chain with a huge marketing team. We are just a bunch of people working in a building on Church Street. We see all kinds of people, from students to office workers. It is a lot of cleaning and a lot of cooking. We just keep our heads down and do the work. If you are coming by the metro, we are hard to miss once you step outside and look up.
