You can find us over at Residency Road Phase I, specifically at number 65. It’s a big building and we are just one small part of it. The area is always buzzing with people in a hurry. Our office is filled with stacks of papers and old ledgers that we still use sometimes. We have a few computers that hum all day long. The desks are a bit scratched and the chairs aren't the most ergonomic, but they do the job. We spend most of our hours answering the phone and writing out orders. It’s a lot of back and forth with suppliers and customers. We don't have a big reception area with a fancy rug. People just walk straight in and talk to whoever is free. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall downstairs and we sit for five minutes to drink it. The view from the window is mostly just other buildings and the tops of cars. It’s a very practical space. We don't spend money on decorations or expensive lighting. We’d rather just focus on getting the work done and making sure the records are right. The traffic on Residency Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually stay a bit late to let it clear out. It’s just how we operate. We’ve been at this address for a long time and know everyone else in the building. We just keep our heads down and handle the business as it comes.
