Down in Doddanekkundi at 39/5 is where Pink Sky Bar is located. It’s a bit of an odd spot, but it works out. We don’t really have a view of the sky that’s actually pink, except maybe for a few minutes at sunset if you look out the back window. The name just sounded good at the time. Inside, it’s mostly just a place to grab a drink. We have some stools at the bar that are a bit wobbly, we keep meaning to fix them. The floor is concrete and easy to clean, which is good because things get spilled quite a bit. It’s mostly workers from the nearby tech parks and factories who come in. They are tired and just want to sit down for an hour. We don’t have fancy cocktails with umbrellas or anything like that. Just the basic stuff. Sometimes the music is a bit too loud because the guy behind the bar likes old rock songs. We get a lot of trucks passing by outside on the main Doddanekkundi road, so it’s never really quiet. The building at 39/5 is a bit plain, just a square block really. We’ve been here a few years now and most of the people around here know us. It’s not the fanciest place in town, but it’s ours and we keep it running. Sometimes we run out of peanuts, which usually upsets the regulars.
