Shiro

Shiro is located over on Vittal Mallya Road, and we also have the spot at Sakinaka 222. It’s a bit of an interesting setup having these two locations. The Vittal Mallya area is always buzzing with people, while Sakinaka has its own different kind of energy. We’ve been running things for a while now, and we’ve learned that the most important thing is just showing up and making sure everything is ready before the first person walks in. The decor is something we put a lot of effort into, but we don't really talk about it much. It’s just there to set the mood. Our kitchen staff works hard, often in the heat and under a lot of pressure, especially on Friday nights when the rush starts. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in town, just a spot where you can get a good meal and not feel rushed. Sometimes we try new things on the menu, and they don't always work out, so we go back to what we know. It's a lot of trial and error. The staff is like a small family; we've been through a lot of busy shifts together. We don't do big marketing campaigns. We just let the food and the atmosphere do the talking for us. It’s a lot of work, but we like the pace of it. Most days we're just focused on the next order.
